I must admit that the movie Captain America: Civil War was an excellent watch. The special effects were stunning, and the biceps were eye-catching. However, what kept going on in my mind was how the Civil War could have been avoided had they had a better negotiation process. Well, I watched Captain America while I was in the middle of researching for a negotiation workshop so I thought it would be good to share some basic, but mostly forgotten or overlooked, negotiation basics. If one makes use of these five basic principles in negotiation, the whole negotiation process could be easier.
