Anger has historically not had a good reputation. The word anger conjures a negative image leading many to detest this emotion. There are people who do not think that being angry can promote emotional health but it can. The important things to consider are 1) to accept that being angry is all right in most cases, 2) one should learn how to express it, 3) it can help one grow into maturity, 4) anger management does not mean anger suppression.
