*** SPOILER ALERT ***
In episode 28 of Naruto Shippuuden entitled 'The Resurrected Beasts', Team Guy faces themselves in a battle. Lee fights a jutsu Lee, Guy a jutsu Guy, and so do Neji and Tenten. The jutsu versions of themselves were as strong as they were when the jutsu was activated. Of course, it was a tough fight. Afterall, they were fighting someone who are their equals. On top of it, the jutsu versions do not succumb to exhaustion.
So what choice do they have?
Lee came up with a marvelously simple idea. They have to become stronger than they were when the jutsu was activated.
"Stronger than the me of yesterday!"
As we run in the rat race, we get caught up fighting and outclassing each other and lose focus on winning against our worst enemy - ourselves. Maybe you'll be surprised to find out that the Trojan Horse within you does not have any other enemies, but a mirror that shows yourself as the enemy. It was you who was limiting your growth potential.
It's innate in human nature to seek growth. Even this point in history is a result of evolution. There are continuous development in science, and many other areas because human beings desire to push the boundaries. And whether you admit it or not, you have always fancied doing something else. Is it because you are tired or bored? Or is it because you want to see where your limits lie?
What do we learn from Team Guy?
Lastly, you have to get out of your comfort zone and live in your courage zone. In that way, you are sure to become stronger than the you of yesterday.
Keep on growing.
