Every night I ask myself What I feel for you my friend It is obvious that I'm confused Whether to let it burn, or leave it dead.
Every time I think of you I can't help admiring you Every time I see you I don't know what to do.
If it's a sin to fall for you Tell me now so I won't feel blue But before you do, this I pray That you understand these words I say
No one knows that I like you But I'm not sure if you do You may not believe that it's true That I've got my eyes set on you.
Agony awaits me in this road Because I feel that you're very cold And I remember the name you told me of the one you love very dearly.
But if these things that I have written Are all wrong and I'm mistaken Do tell me what is right So that I'll have a peaceful night.
I wrote this when I was 14 for a classmate I liked very much at that time. As I was typing this poem from the heart, I can't help but feel infatuated again. But it's just feelings. Nonetheless, it's fun reminiscing.
